ProSiebenSat.1 Produktion commissioned okamo with redesigning the logo for the TV show "Nur die Liebe zählt". The popular TV show hosted by Kai Pflaume and aired on Sat.1 is back with its new show design. Our job was to "freshen up" the old, very established logo and help advance the show with a more thematic and modernized appearance.

The main objective when redesigning the logo of the popular German TV show "Nur die Liebe zählt" [Only Love Matters] was to breathe new life into it without negating all deep-set components that viewers had become accustomed to seeing over the years. It was clear that the typography would need to be modernized. And it was also clear that the heart would remain a central element of the logo due to its recognition effect.
Here we have several stages of development in the process of creating a final logo. It only exemplifies how the final product of a design is also that which it is not: implemented ideas that were only rejected later on, versions, attempts at different shapes, visual research, experiments in design – all have influenced the final logo in some manner or another even though they're not necessarily visible (except on our website ; ).
